The trend matters. The daily number doesn't.

Body weight swings a couple pounds day to day from water, salt and sleep. The chart plots your weigh-ins against a goal line so you see the direction over weeks, and the header tells you the change over the period, not just this morning's noise.

Because weight lives in the same app as your food and training, you can actually see what's driving the line. The Progress tab also pulls in your daily steps from Apple Health with a calorie-burn estimate. The app only ever reads steps; it never writes anything to Apple Health.
